3. Hell
After the death of her parents, authorities tried to locate Sarah's next of kin. Their attempts were futile.
Sarah was placed into an orphanage where she was constantly bullied, making her life a private hell ... with no way to escape.
No hope for a normal future.

Two Clouds
I'm in hell, this sure seems like it,
The pain, unbearable and unending,
The hurt grows on me daily,
Mockery and torment is the order of the day.
Everything smells like death,
My own skin smells like death,
Christine's breath smells like death,
My least dreaded corner had begun to sicken me too.
It takes time to heal they say,
Six months gone and wounds are as fresh as new,
Hurting more everyday as her words serve as whips,
Christine was definitely sent to be my scorn.
Why did it have to hurt so much, why?
God has a purpose for all things, says Sister Rebecca,
But my life was an exact opposite,
Everything seemed contrary to ever being planned.
My life, ruined so early,
My heart and hopes broken,
I long to be healed, to forget all this pain,
But first, I long to be rescued from Christine and this hell of an orphanage.
Author's Note
Wow, Sarah is in a pretty desperate place. She lost her parents. Then she got tossed into an orphanage where she was bullied daily.
Why do terrible things happen to decent people?
Nobody deserves such terrible treatment.
Nobody!
What can we do when something awful happens to us?
Maybe it's an opportunity for us to overcome these negative events. To prove we are stronger. And ultimately, to help us heal and grow.
Thank you for reading!
Thanks,
Tom
