In A Young Child's Mind
Imagine if people walked on the wall,
If trees were short and grass was tall.
Imagine if we wrote with our fingers, not pens,
And counted 10-1 not 1-10.
Imagine if we couldn't see in the light,
If right was left and left was right.
Imagine if others cared when you cried,
If people only saw what's on the inside.
Imagine if I said this strange world was real,
Just not in a place that all people can feel.
This magical upside down world, you'll find,
Only exists in a young child's mind.
