25 Clichéd
Is this what life has become?
The inexperienced claim experience?
The loneliest have the most friends...
I've found that most books have more verbosity than useful information...
The intellectuals are extinct,
And in their place are the imbeciles with the greatest self confidence.
Oh, what has become of this century?
We've gone from meaning to meaningless.
And taste to tasteless.
Blame it on Covid if you must.
But this has been the trend since Y2K.
Generations of research washed away.
Libraries burned to the ground.
Songs are regurgitated rather than interpreted.
Languages translated rather than learned.
What a travesty this clichéd world has become!
The happiest are actually the most depressed.
The rich are actually poor inside.
And the ones who pray most actually remember God the least, when it matters most.
Time is running out.
It's all we complain about.
And yet we don't do anything to help it.
Nonsense is the new sense.
While common sense is no longer common,
As we live in a land of smartphones and simple people.
Death is exploited as a way out of everything.
And new life isn't given much fanfare either.
The blind lead the blind and the deaf hear the most.
Life isn't as it was intended.
So why do we continue?
Who are we impressing?
What is the end result?
Where is this final destination?
And is this all worth it in the end?
Why did you make life so clichéd in the end?
