I am that which dances on winter's bitter breeze,
and I am as cold as winter myself.
My crystals gleam in the waning sun's beams,
whoever sees me and my siblings shall be granted happiness in wealth.
Let me fall from the steely, grey clouds above,
let me float as soft as a feather.
I shall sing to the snow queen's lament!
I am her servant. Her dancer for the waltz yet no mortal can have me tethered.
I shall die as you breathe your warmth upon me,
I shall die at your first touch.
You cannot make me your faithful slave,
I cannot remain long on the earth as such!
