i sit

on the bridge 

listening to the

rushing water

beneath me.

Somehow

I can be tempted to 

slip through the railing 

let myself fall into the 

cold, icy waves 

to disappear

beneath the foam 

I can imagine myself doing this

and yet

not give it a second thought. 

yeah. the water was cold, I've felt it before. and it wasn't that deep. not from the part where the bridge was at least. if I actually had fallen in from there I would've gotten maybe knee deep. Cold as hell and soaking wet but fine. I'm fine.
