I wrote this  when  I was in school and I was missing home.  It actually helped.  I thinking writing is the best therapy on earth.

Cold, Hot,

Warm, lukewarm,

Happy, sad,

Scared, brave,

Never one thing,  always  changing.

Change without warning,

Change without expectation,

Unnerving, unsettling,

Change, change,

Disturbing the silence,

Disturbing the peace.

Change can be good,

But change easily done is unnerving.

Never knowing what to do,

How to act,

Feeling left out,

Feeling wanted.

Change is unnerving.

Change is dangerous.

Uncomfortable feelings,

Striking confusion.

The mind creates a fixed image,

Change occurs suddenly,

The mind is confused,

Unnerved, as always.
