I know dreams come true 

Because of you.

A mouse and his friends

Proved that bonds will mend.

A princess in a dress

Taught me not to stress.

I know dreams come true

Elephants can fly,

Why don't I try?

Aliens travel to Earth,

Everyone has worth.

I know dreams come true

Because of you.

If toys can talk

And puppets can walk,

Why can't I become an astronaut

Or build a robot?

Your creations

And imagination

Inspire us to try our best

and pass every test.

Because of you,

Dreams will come true.

I wrote this poem for a history project earlier this year. I haven't revised it much yet but thought i would share it anyway. Can anyone guess who this historical poem is about?
