Another day bids me goodbye,
I just stare at empty space, trying not to cry.
I once wished to go and see the stars with you,
But now I'm over it, that wish was too far to be true.

Broken as I am, hurt as I was,
No idea what I will be.
Looking back at my life, it has only been a loss,
I have closed my eyes as I am too scared to see.

I believed I needed time to heal,
That's long gone now I am unable to feel.
My patience is wearing off, I'm tired of waiting,
The memories of us that I had in mind have already faded.

Maybe I'm crazy, just another fool,
Because I didn't take our time together as a taken for granted tool.
Fools like me are always left alone in the end,
Bonds that are broken once, are impossible to mend.
