I can dandle a baby on my hip

as I chastise a teenager for giving me lip.

All of this whilst I talk on the phone.

Sometimes I wish I was home all alone....

I can stroke the cat as I feed the fish,

I can dust the shelf as I dry the dish,

I can clean your shoes as I sweep the floor

and the list goes on, more, more and more.

I can hang out the washing as I pull out the weeds,

I can dig out potatoes as I plant more seeds,

I can wash the car and sing out my heart,

Thank goodness tomorrow is a brand new start!
