Take half a moon and a sprinkling of stars,

And a pinch of red spice from the planet Mars.

Take a handful of Saturn rings all thick, not thin

Mix all together and put in a tin.

Now, into the oven for it has to bake,

Just thirty minutes and here is the cake.

Leave it to cool, it is so hard to wait.

I'm longing to taste this magical cake!

A dusting of moonbeams to put on the top.

I hope it tastes good and is not a flop!

It really is beautiful, all colours and hues

especially greens, reds, pinks and blues.

Oh, just the sight of it makes my teeth ache.

Umm, so delicious, it's GALAXY cake.
