I try and try to better myself
Every little step I take someone holds me back,
Try to do the right thing which includes getting my girl back,
Try to be more peaceful
Try to be nice
These kids really be trying my life,
Smart mouths every way you turn,
Even the adult feelings about to be hurt,
Try to focus on one thing but there's another situation wanting,
Waiting just got to be uncovered
Almost no matter what I do something wrong,
Low self-esteem is what this has become,
It never goes away just keeps coming on and on,
People try to help but how
How do you help someone that doesn't want to be helped,
How do you help someone who doesn't even know what's wrong,
I try to keep it all inside but its slowly coming out,
Don't rush me and let me take my time,
Let me figure it out myself promise I'll be come to you overtime,
Trying to clean and clear my brain,
From all lies that I once thought was true,
From people that do nothing but lie to you,
From the hurt and pain its caused,
Being peaceful doesn't work
