Stories are my escape,
To get away from my reality.
When I'm hopeful,
I give them happy endings.
But typically,
They're awful.
Just as in reality,
There's death, heartbreak, just awful things.
And that is why,
Those ends I fear.
Don't end my happiness,
Please don't end me!
