They care enough to see you succeed
But not about your personal life
Thats where they recede
If given the rare moment
When personal life and school combine
They'd watch quietly from afar
While you increasingly decline
They're careful not to get involved
Your life is a place they don't wanna be
Because they aren't your friends
They never will be you see
But I've stopped being bitter
This is how the problem 'must' be dealt
They teach you. thats it.
