We blame video games for violence

and we blame guns

for the blood spilt on school's steps

We claim bullets find skin in "self-defense"

instead of blaming police brutality

on the rascits

We blame the alcohol or suggestive outfits for rape

Instead of blaming those who commit sexual assault

Syrian children lie in the rubble

and we blame it on a religion

not a group of extremists

Video games are fun and a way to let of steam

Guns rip apart families. 

We do not need to change our clothes for someone or stop drinking completely.
