Those "girls" you refer to are my sisters and friends

Whose kindness I sought after the worst things in my life happened

How dare you assume that it is a compliment?

That I should beam at you batting my eyes

when you are alienating me 

from the very core of my proud female being?

There are many ways to tell me you love me, 

But to make my sisters small and me big

is not one of them

Don't love me because you think "I'm not like other girls"

Love me because you do.
