They sacrificed their life especially for yours.
Shooting and shooting, bullets through the air.
Soldiers getting injured, no time to repair.

The horrific letters the loved ones receive.
The soldiers in battle, the ones who achieve.
People at home waiting for news,
but they don't know about the soldiers they lose.

Triumph and victory flying everythwhere,
but quite frankly reality isn't that fair,
All those dead soldiers just lying there,
Sadly not a single person seems to care,
except their families sitting at home in despair.
