The Savor of Cede

I can feel it
That her heart beats.
I can sense it
That she smiles happy.
Rhythms in me
The pulse of her life.
I will try all hymns and herbs
For her happiness.
I will curse all conjurations,
Chant every charms,
For to assure on her face
That precious pleasure.
For I am her father
And she, my heart's heal.
Once, my heart cracked of her
When she fell down before my eyes
From a stair's second step.
Years ran from there
And on a then usual day
A day after her six-candle cake
She asked me what life is.
I said it's she for me,
And she'd said,
It's me for her.
Another day that season
She asked me what love is.
I said it's what binds me to her.
And she'd said,
It's me, her Dada, for her.
Seasons of savor and sweetness
Chased one another from there.
But then came, to the Game of Life,
An unwanted guest.
That was the season of sourness.
And she,
Left me for him;
Calling him her life and love.
Dear readers,
Apologies if you came to this page expecting more. I didn't like this poem much. Can't cede myself to the world of poetry amidst my studies and related stuff. Hoping to be revived :-) :-)
