My only wish (juxtaposition poem part 1)
The Labyrinth
I can only see
fragments of the reflection of who I aspired to be.
I can only remember glimmers of light
and regret.
I can only hear,
my soundless screams,
and the chuckles of the dolls sewn together with the fibers of my being
and the patches of my skin:
to be those who accompany me and erase my loneliness.
I can only feel the tears of blood running down my face,
staining my bones and my dress,
and the locks bound to my writs:
leading me to the guillotine of fate
that will slice off my despair filled head.
I can only taste,
the bitter saltiness of my blood stained tears,
erasing all familiarity of the different meals I craved and loathed
throughout my uncertain life.
All because I wished to save her.
And now I'm here,
in this godforsaken labyrinth
of despair.
