≈ Dreams Vs. World ≈

Eleven years old with dreams I could see,

I knew what I wanted to explore,

I planned what I wanted to be,

My mind was set from before,

Family and friends were there for support ,

Just as strong as a bridge and it's beams,

I was a kid and my life was a fort,

I had built it as high as I pleased.

I wasn't prepared for what could take me down,

In fact I was not prepared at all,

All I was left with was a frown

As the world spun me and made me small.

I realized life was not so sweet,

But I had people to meet so I got back on my feet.
