The meaning of forever is so often misunderstood,

as time lacks value to those that wish they could.

To those that wish forever is now, forever is then, or forever was.

But they are wrong in the sense that forever is real.

Forever is far from the truth.

Forever is nothing but a lie,

hidden and concealed by the passion felt at the time.

But in reality forever is not real.

It is a false hope meant to bring meaning to love, or to life.

Hear me now,

Forever is nothing but a lie.

In forever we find lies,

buried deep into the word.

It sings loud and speaks some

whenever the word rolls off our lips.

But don't be fooled,

forever is a lie.

In the end,

nothing lasts forever.

Forever is a lie.

All that we are given is the time in between.

From when we are born,

to when we die.

In reality, all we have is what's between hello

and goodbye.
