I had a dream

The dream was about you

I saw you as clear as day

Your smile warmed me to my toes

In my dream we talked, you told me you were sorry

Sorry for not talking to me

Sorry for not giving me a chance

We made up

We went and had a picnic

The sun shone bright lighting up your eyes

But just as you were going to say something

My alarm went off

I woke up happy

For a moment

But then that moment passed

And I felt confused

I wondered why I had a dream of you

When I have no more feelings for you

Could it be possible that deep down I still do?

Have I not completely let you go?

It was a marvelous one

It has still left me reeling
