My heart is breaking

Slowly cracking

From what,  I don't know

But all these expectations

Don't matter when you're drowning

Not everything is black & white

A smile can hide tears

But who'd see such thoughts

Behind such a perfect mask.

The lights go out

You shut your eyes

But then the demons start to bite

Clawing, slowly ripping you apart

'Till you're left with nothing

Nothing but their horrid thoughts

Thoughts laced in anger

Furiously blinding all sense 

Thoughts laced in fear

What'll happen when you're gone?

These thoughts shred what remains 

You feel you're slowly going insane

But no one sees these thoughts

Hidden deep down inside

So, slowly you give in

Allowing the monsters to win

Shrinking 'till you're no more

Until you say goodbye.

A/N: Guys I'm so sorry that multiple of these poems are depressing and fucked up, but I do feel these are important things to talk about and if poetry is how some of us express ourselves, go for it!
