A Final Goodbye
The hardest part of saying goodbye
Is most of the time, it is a lie
Because life goes on and paths cross
One friend may be the janitor, the other the boss
But its not the goodbye that counts, the the hellos
But people will deny you and say life really blows
But, you just gotta accept life's twisted fate
That it bestowed upon you, still active this very date
On your deathbed, your friends all greet you
As your corpse lies in a coffin, your lips already blue
And soon, a friend drops a hand next to your thigh
So he can say no words, but give a final goodbye
