Short-ish Poem: Howl
I call to the wind hoping for it to call back
Wonder is in my eyes waiting for my destiny to unravel
The moon comes out from behind the clouds displaying its beauty for all
It rises to its full potential to later shrink into oblivion as the sun comes from behind the earth
The sun shines brighter than the moon it will be remembered longer than the moon
But remember those nights were the moon guided you when you had no light
When the wolves howled to their hearts delight
The echo of their howl continues on until it finally stops in the big city lights were all your hear is the echo of sirens and cars honking
Maybe one day we will hear the echo of the howls again and maybe if we just stay quiet we can connect to the moon and the howl again so it can guide us through those dark nights were the moon barely shines or not even at all
Maybe one day we will see that have this all wrong that we need to be close to the moon and stars and not to the bright lights of New York or Hollywood
Maybe if we try to stay away from light we can hear the echo become reality
And that reality becomes and palace of nature so that we may finally have eyes of wonder and wait for our destiny to unfold
And when the moon and stars come back we can finally be free of the white lights of cities and we can trust in the moon and the stars for our light
