We're worthless little kids
With no place in this world
We don't deserve to meet our idols
Our mentors
The one's who've kept us fighting
To strive to not loose hope

They say that we're appreciated
Loved
Cared about
But in reality
That isn't enough
That love needs to be showed

We need someone to hold us
To let us cry on their shoulder
To be with us when we need them
Someone who understands

Some might seem ok
But are going insane inside
Behind a screen
One might say
"I'm fine"
But on the other side
They could be sobbing

But there are little things
That bring joy to us
The sweet innocent little child
Who loves rock and roll
The boy with insomnia
Who stays up making art
It's unpredictable

The guys who "are too geeky"
The girls who "aren't pretty"
Think the answer to their prayers
Is to harm themselves
Suicide even

Be careful what you say
To us worthless little kids
You never know what's going on
Beneath the surface of what you see of us
