I can't forgive you 

Not for the things you've done

All I can try to do

Is live my life and move on.

It's hard sometimes

When thoughts of you come back around

You were such a big part of my life

It was hard to shut you out 

I know the decision I made was good

I know that it was right

But it hurts sometimes, even now

But I can't forget that night.

You took advantage of my trust

Blew it to smithereens

I really should have just gone

And joined in the Marines.

And while I can't forgive you

For the awful things you've done

I guess I am a little thankful

You've taught me a lesson.

It doesn't matter how long you've known someone

Or even how much you trust em

Everyone can do such horrible things

If given the right weapon

And while it's hard to say goodbye

Sometimes it's necessary 

To leave all those things behind

Step onto a new path

To make your own way in life

And never look back.

So while I can't forgive you

For the nasty things you've done

I guess I jave to thank you

For that valuable lesson.
