Dreams are mystical, magic 

One of a kind 

You could have them again 

But they are different each time 

One could be simple 

Another complex 

Each one of them guarded 

Deep in the decks 

Of our minds 

 Shadow and light 

Simple and clear 

Dark and stormy 

Warm and dear

A dream is a place 

Where everyone goes 

Where you and I 

And each person we know 

And it binds 

 A warning, a prayer 

An omen, a wish 

Of people, of nature 

Sometimes even of fish 

We look into our souls 

Our spirits, they exist 

But dreams are sneaky 

And go at the flick of a wrist 

They disappear 

 Maybe we dream 

To make life be true

A moment, a second 

That day I finally see you 

Our dreams, our hopes 

Those brought us here 

I will never let go 

I hold you too dear 

I do not fear 

 Love is a dream 

Sometimes life can be too 

And if it's a dream 

I want to dream with you 

Dreams are a journey 

They run on forever 

Some can be scary 

But make our life better 

Just a song 

 Nightmares, daydreams 

Deep dreams, hope 

Each of them odd, sure 

But they help us cope 

I know my dream 

Is hard to make true
