I close my eyes and think of you.
The memories feel like soft cotton that hugs me and saves me from the harsh impact of reality.
Your laughter echos in my mind,
sweeter than a melody,
more addicting than a song.
Your smile is engraved into my brain,
a permanent reminder of your perfect lips.
The world around me is growing dark,
seas are rough,
storms are forming
skies are grey.
But you
bring a shimmer of light when all seems lost.
All I need to do
is close my eyes
