I found out through personal experiences that nice people come last in the race of life.
The nicest of people are the first to get hurt in the worst ways possible,
so I decided that I was no longer going to be that person.
I became the person who the old me would despise.
I became everything I said I wouldn't,
simply because I was no longer willing to be hurt by the people who I presented my heart to.
