After getting this close to your heart,
You shut me off,and I feel am back to the start,
An empty sheet , an empty canvas, a clean slate.

Like two parallel lines never to meet,
With every step we draw further apart,
Time had left my side, proving her true self,
After all it was too good to be true, wasn't it?

The sun would always hide whenever a snowstorm showed up,
No matter what, it won't be able to provide warmth,

Won't you give me a chance?
Just one, to prove I'll never hurt you.
Look me in the eyes, tell me how you feel,
Then I remembered, the sun's too bright for that.

I gave you space but I feel this wound is anything but healing,
