Tears fill my eyes

yet do not fall

I will not cry

It is not worth my tears

to cry over one who says they love me

but can not show it

I yearn for a connection

but every time it sparks

a fire ignites and burns what started to form

Inside me are all my emotions

they are an inferno

burning me inside

yet contained so as not to hurt others.
