the scenery is slowly drifting by
giving us our time to say our goodbyes
soft memories dance around in my head
not wanting to leave dreams I have in bed
earlier today feels like yesterday
as my needed naps restarted the day
light notes flood my ears, I don't want to go
I never want to leave this aesthetic road
it is nothing inherently special
just here my mind is seeming to settle
the trees fly by faster, and so we pass
several pictures my dreams will surely cast
