White
The white curtains were delicate
In came morning shine and I,
I saw your dusky skin and your
Eyes closed and your breathing secure.
Chest rising as the sun went up
I knew it was time to get up,
But once we leave the white sheets
We go back to the longing stares.
Step into the somber space
Greeted by half happy smiles,
Walk into the whirling woe
Gazed by half empty eyes.
I could spent an eternity,
Drawing waves across their face,
I'll get lost and bring back the
Light inside their windowed orbs.
I see you walking by the walls,
Talking to one dressed like me;
We left your house together but
Now we're doing different jobs.
Once I saw the parakeet,
Underneath your white coat
Flying in the golden sky
Shining wings of rainbow hue.
Step into the somber space
Greeted by half happy smiles,
Walk into the whirling woe
Gazed by half empty eyes.
I could spent an eternity,
Making waves across my face,
I get lost and will still have the
Light that shines inside my self.
Felt whole as I used to long for this,
Now I long for you, I feel a hole instead;
I'm dressed in white from head to toe,
Where you still can't get your head into.
I watch you move as you breathe,
Do you smell my scented wax?
They take the medicine, hate the smell,
But they're my favorite candle sticks.
This place of insanity,
Where thoughts would end and lives begin,
The place of loud heartbeats where
They wrote the first chapter of our book.
Step into the somber space
Greeted by half happy smiles,
Walk into the whirling woe
Gazed by half empty eyes.
I'll spent an eternity,
Where we blossomed in the light,
I'll get lost but I'll come back
Into your arms as the sun does down.
