I feel the sun rays shining on my skin,
The sunlight is creeping in through the window,
I have an empty feeling inside,
A feeling that I'm going to reach nowhere.

I used to wake up with confidence in me,
But now I wake up, directionless;
Whenever I try to rise up,
There are hands that are pulling me down.

I've dreams, and I'm the only one who knows their value,
Hope is the only thing that gets me going,
But you try to break it,
You try to break me into pieces.

Even when they say that my path won't take me anywhere,
I have these voices inside me-
Saying, "You, you are the Queen."
"Yeah, you're meant to be a star."

And it says, "Shine like a star,
Be the light of the world,
Spread happiness like a song,
Be the music that gives hope."

But there are thunderclouds blocking my path,
There's a big storm ahead,
These strong winds are pushing me back,
And the lightning is aimed at me.

But I'll be the bright star among these dark clouds,
I'll be the ray of light on this misty evening,
I'll be the rainbow seen on this stormy day,
I'll be the music heard among the thunderbolt.

No one can push me down,
Cause I'm stronger than a tornado;
No one can pull me down,
Cause I can fly like a mighty dragon.
