#16 | Sweet Words are Pointing at Nerves |
I've never been one for sweet words,
The choices we make they may hurt.
Can you trust me when I say we'd fall?
But that's just me, running down the halls.
Yelling at me, I don't say a word,
Lost in my own fantasy, I'll cut the cord.
Hello old friends, nice to see you again,
No answer once more, am as I sane as a lore?
Charm me with your innate smile,
Break my walls, you can try.
Hold my hand and drag me to the light,
There's no one there, no need to fight.
One last step you're almost there,
You wouldn't know, you wouldn't care.
Thou it's not for me to judge someone,
If I did I would've fixed my life before the sun.
Not so sweet, more like paper,
A blank page so small not so a keeper.
Playing hide n' seek, Christmas eve,
I've lost myself, cutting through my sleeves.
