forty-two
ten fell back asleep, johnny seeing him through his peripheral vision. he looked so ethereal and he was so small in the sweater that hung off his shoulder.
he made johnnys 2009 old silver car look like trash compared to his beauty. his nose that brought out his pouty lips, those eyes that shimmered and revealed all of tens secrets, his soft black hair that laid lightly against his forehead—
johnny was whipped and he didn't know what to think.
yeah, ten said he loved him, but he was sad and johnny didn't know if ten wanted him to take it seriously.
the sun began setting, orange-pink streaks coloring the bland sky. ten shuffled around in his seat, getting comfortable. johnny watched in awe, disappointed in the fact that he had to wake ten up.
"ten, we're at the motel," johnny spoke in a voice slightly louder than a whisper. he watched how ten slowly opened his eyes and rubbed cutely at them. then he proceeded to raise his arms and release a low yawn.
"don't wanna walk," ten mumbled, closing his eyes again.
johnny released a hearty sigh and walked around the car with a face splitting smile on his face. when tens door opened, johnny undid his seatbelt and turned around. "i'll give you a piggyback ride into the motel."
tens eyes opened and he giggled into his hand moving onto the olders back, gasping when he felt johnny place his hands on the underside of his thighs. his face heated up and he hid it in the crook of johnnys neck.
how could he not feel flustered beyond human capabilities when hiding his feelings were impossible. johnny was someone who was freakishly good at getting ten to admit those inner feelings and bring them out.
