Age 7: Dad lost his job.

Age 12: Dad lost temper. Mom works 3 jobs to get by.

~interested in BOB and Newspaper group.

~ September: get in the newspaper in the 'Current Events' column, but not BOB. Met Iris. Become acquainted with each other.

~Late September: mom and I solve problems about dad.
problem: not knowing things work out.
solution: dad will come back in April. Now has a job as a shop manager.

~ second week of October, routine:

Wake up at 6.30, tidy self, make breakfast and lunch. Mom comes in, talk, then head off. Go to the bus stop, talk to grana, go to school.
On the bus, sit next to Iris and chat. Then, Iris goes to her group and we go separate ways. At lunch, eat and read alone.
go home using the bus, do HW (2), all subjects have one, then heads to the animal shelter. Usually goes there 1x/week. Today, dealing with dog litter, gross.
Head home at 5, takes a shower and HW(3).
Do newspaper stuff. Levi asked me to finish the newspaper report about bank robbery today. I finish and send to her.
Mom comes in, we talk then she heads to shower and I cook. Cooking way, stuff. Eat dinner and chat. Then, she writes in a diary. She rests now.
~october: Halloween 31st! Game of tag, in the dark. Dressed as a cat, simple.

~Fall break: in the week of Columbus day

~nov: 1st newspaper published with a problem. Katrina hacked into the computer. Met Trace and sat with him the next day.
2nd week November: start to plan what to give mom. decide on a scented candle, Christmas tree ornament, and a tote bag. Trace & Iris
~Thanksgiving, 22nd-23rd: mom and I spend the day cooking, then inviting strangers in to eat with us.
~Got an ornament from Trace, shop for a scented candle with Iris. Got a tote bag.

~December, Christmas: mom and I decorate the house, then we exchange presents, tradition. She gets me shoes, mine already very broken. It fits well.

New Years: mom still work, so I stay at home, reading and making food. We celebrate and stay up until 12.

School...

~Jan. Martin Luther King Day, the third Monday of January. Stay at home with mom, playing Monopoly. Invite Iris, but she's off with her fam. Invite Trace, he says okay.
~Group project

February: 2nd newspaper publish. Have drama between Levi and another guy.

March: Birthday! Iris says happy birthday, so does mom, Trace does too. Old grana invite me to her place to celebrate. Grana Dolla is Iris' grana. I go there sometimes.
~BOB battle ensues. not report.
~2 weeks Easter break

2ND week of April: dad comes back to the house. Marin is still very wary, duh. Dad apologizes. Marin and dad in 1 room only. Marin stays silent then walks out.
~Starts talking more with Trace, Iris talks more to her other friends. They make a group without Marin.
4th week of April: still avoiding. Dad gives up and just works (office job). The atmosphere is very awkward. Longest convo is asking what's for dinner.

May: ~mother's day: dad give mom flowers while Marin gives mom a pretty notebook.
~3rd newspaper release: officially no drama. Time to go out is very fast.
~english writing teacher give an announcement about a writing contest.
~Also begin to study for the tests.
~Show study hideout and routine goes to the library.

~2nd week of June: we find out who won the competition. Marin won 5th place. Still okay.
~ 2x/day for a test, very stressed out, but is okay.
~School dance: Iris dances with a girl. Marin nervously asks Trace out. He says yes. Make a scene.
~Summer officially starts! Iris and Trace are on holiday, so it's only you now! Grana Dolla is also brought on the journey.

July: ~Summer Job, lawn-mowing and dog walking.
~July 4th: Independence Day. Spend time with Dad and Mom. Warms up to dad a bit today, like 20%.
~Visit the Library more often now.
~Visit Bowling center, 15$.

August:
~Trouble with dog walking. Lost dog, but she found him again.
~Goes to Library often
~Talks with the Librarian, Ms. Jones often. She's a young, chipper, in her 30's. Dark skin, brown hair and black eyes, usually dressed in a blouse and maxi-skirt, blouse tucked in.
~Has a good relationship with Ms. Jones; obsessed with books and stuff like that. Also Riverdale.
~ Summer job doing okay. Dad got promoted.

School again. Early September, 2nd year of school.

September:~First day. Sat with Iris. Turns out her friends left her. I invite to stay with me. She said yes.
~Enters BOB battle and Newspaper. Gets in both of them.
~First time going to BOB. Leader: Mr. Reynolds. tells us that BOB needs to read 20 books and we're divided into 2 teams, 3/team.
1st team: Marin, Juliet, Campbell
2nd team: Katrina, Rachel, and Petunia (girl squad)
~newspaper as a sports writer. cannot change. work in pairs with lily, a new girl. you become acquaintances.
- books: Celestia & Day After Day
- find running sports. write down in the newspaper column.

oct. ~relationship with dad improves 40%. we talk to each other about what happened. drama stuff.
~halloween: Kim possible (minus long hair); army green pants, black mock neck, combat looking boots and a fanny bag
~in Halloween, prank by Katrina, locked in a classroom. turns out she also hates Trace. bond 35% and make revenge back at her. September there is beauty pageant and Katrina joins in.
- plan: Marin and Trace work there part-time because is trace's mom's business, so with coworker help, mess up the order but it's still correct.
- books: The Player and The Pauper, Little Women, 11.11, The Incorrigible Tale
~ fall break: in the week of Columbus day

Nov. ~ (3rd week)first newspaper publish goes okay. it's the biggest hit because of the 'Katrina incident'.
- 1st week: do prank. is successful!
- books: Frankie Foster, 7 reasons why, Anne of the Green Gables, miss peregrine's home for peculiar children
- 4th week: find a present for Dad, Iris and Trace and Mom. dad gets mittens while Mom gets socks, Trace gets a full pencil case and Iris gets a fur coat, she likes fashion.
~Thanksgiving, 22nd-23rd: mom, dad and I spend all day cooking separate meals, then surprise each other. invite one of dad's friends from.work to eat with us.
- OTW to shelter found kitten half-dead on the sidewalk. quickly bring to shelter to revive. sadly, it died.
- her phone is breaking slowly.

Dec. - Trace, iris, and Marin have a snowball fight
- go to Iris' house to bake cookies. Iris parents own a bakery.
- mom and dad like gifts, Trace hugs as a thank you and Iris like the gift. she also hugs. we go to shelter where I usually work to end the day. Trace ends you working there with me.
- mom and dad get me another flip phone. Marin's phone's almost already broken.
- new years: both parents start at home, so we stay at home all day, making a snowman, then eating the store-bought cookies while watching Christmas movies. it's good.
- books: matilda, what to say next, emerald star

Jan. - Katrina gets back at me by dumping green goo all over Marin's locket, where most of her textbooks are.
- gets another version of the textbook, messier.
- Martin Luther King Day, the third Monday of January. Go to an arcade with parents and play. Invite Iris, she says yes. parents are busy anyways.

Feb. - the newspaper is very popular again. it's good.
- have to do a project for history, creating a timeline of ... living. work with Livy, go to her house. very nice house.
- suspicious something is going on...
-valentine's day, the drama between cheerleader ensues. someone make graffiti of cheerleader name in the gym. Levi decides to add in a gossip column.
~ Books: to kill a mockingbird, the way we were, because of Winn Dixie

March: surprise birthday, Marin forgets. Trace, Iris, grana Dolla, Ms. Jones, and parents surprise when. they go to the park to celebrate. Marin is very happy. Trace gets her flowers (Iris idea), Iris gets Marin a cake, parents get Marin a bicycle and Dolla and Ms. Jones get Marin 2 books.
- BOB battle. She and her team won!

June. - 2nd week, find out who won. Marin won 3rd place! she very happy.
~ 2x/day for a test, very stressed out, but is okay. she did well, score 8-9 all.
~ School dance. Trace now has GF, Marin heartbroken, but she moves on. remain, friends.

~ knows grana Dolla is going to a retirement home. visit her as much as possible.

Jul. Grana Dolla is brought to a retirement home far from here, so she cannot visit anymore. Marin goes to the library often.

~July 4th: Independence Day. Spend time with Dad and Mom. Play with firecrackers.
- The condition of living is better. higher quality food and stuff now.

~ the first day. Sat with Trace and Iris, as usual.
~ there's a booth fair thing coming up. The 3 of us signed up for it. It's happening in October, Halloween.
~ Enters Bob battle and newspaper. Gets in both of them. Newspaper > editor.
~Bob battle is a similar team.
1st team: Marin, Juliet, Campell
2nd team: Katrina, Rachel, and Petunia (Katrina forced by her parents)
~ get edit for sports column. Do it alone, no partner.
~ books: the breadwinner series (all 4)

4. She messes w/ the wrong crowd

5. Gets on drugs (party drugs) [ecstasy (MDMA), Rohypnol, GHB, and ketamine.]

6. Mom gets called on a 2-year business trip [relocation] (16)

8. Depression kicks in for a year 17 (addictions changes into cocaine and crack)

9. Gets money by cleaning and mowing the lawn (11-24 $ lawn) ($83.38 sweeping parking lots of 500)

10. (18) gets invited by friends to smoke. Tries to ignore, but gives in to the peer pressure

11. Mom comes back, the dad explains what happened. Dad is evicted from his home.

12. Mom gets furious and scurries to find daughter loitering the streets, drunk-ish.

13. The daughter wakes up to a rental. Emotional bonding moment.

14. The daughter promises to get better. Mom enters her to rehab and a therapist.

15. 4 months of rehab done and 1 month of therapy (types of changes in thinking to make, you're developing the very valuable, life-changing skill of how to become and remain depression-free faster and easier.)

16. Enter back to school. Mistreated by peers. Joins the writing club. Associates w/ a boy named Cole.

17. It works hard. Gets GED and is employed in

Marin lives in a house w/ her problematic dad and mom. Dad drinks, occasionally go over the top, nothing much. One night, he's gone and wasted and done SHIZ.

SHIZ refers to trashing the house down. No one was hurt though.

Dad works in an office job, so he doesn't have the time to be religious or whatever.

He likes watching the game, though. *"* Is what he likes to watch in front of is. It's disgusting and nasty. Has not made any moves towards me. Yet.

I simply avoid him whenever I can. It's easier that way.

Mom always works hard for us all. She often works from home, so I see her often. She runs a little language tutoring business. Students often come to our house. Usually, my dad is not at home, so it isn't embarrassing.

Moral fiber: I would help a homeless person if nobody around me knew who I was, so not that strong. I will, give a homeless person my lunch or smth if they're hungry, but not until I take them to shelters.

Physiologically

Fear: scared of snakes, her dad, and squeaking noises.

Dad may get crazy again.

Squeaking noises is because one time, someone almost crashed her when she heard a squeak and wanted to turn around to see what it is. Happened on a last-minute walking across.

Grandma and Grandpa from both sides live far away, in Canada.

Suffers no trauma, just is going to be very wary next time she crosses streets. Always used stairs and never take the normal road.

Has the habit of fiddling w/ her fingers if she has nothing to do.
