Summary: Max never considered himself a pro at math, but it was what his parents and teacher thought. He was given the task to tutor his classmate, Gia, who was getting Ds in the class, however, he realized that they had a little more in common than he thought.

-His father used to have a gambling addiction and it made him kind of relate to what Gia went through with Rue's drug addiction

-At first, Gia is closed off from him, but the more they spend time together, the more she opened up to him
