I never realized just how much Laurel grew as a character until the writers made us say goodbye to her. And through all that, she had the toughest journey outside of Oliver. She lost Tommy, she lost Sara, and she went spiraling downwards.

I figured I could poke some light into her story with a man.

Extra things: 

*He will at some point know her as the Black Canary and admire her for it. He'll figure out the secret identities of the vigilantes but keep the secret without having to be threatened. (He actually admires what they do when others won't act.)

*Laurel was on his side in a case once (he was accused of something he didn't do).

*Have this take place at the end of Season 2 and make it through Season 4.

*Whether or not he decides to take up arms as a vigilante during this time, that's up to you.

*He and Oliver will butt heads a lot due to Oliver's paranoia.

*Someone take this, please. This can turn out really awesome.
