PLOT:

Meredith Stone absolutely despises shapeshifters. She thinks they're disgusting creatures that have no right to berate vampires for their existence. In her whole life as a vampire, she has only encountered one pack of werewolves, who almost tore her into pieces simply for being herself.

She's even more revolted when she discovers that a shapeshifter by the name of Jared Cameron has imprinted on her, causing her to face the source of her problems head on. She does not want anything to do with Jared Cameron or his measly pack of wolves, sticking with her coven and escaping in the night.

Jared spends years searching for the vampire destined to be his soulmate, yearning for the love she will never give him.
