PLOT:

Cassie Jones has no idea what negativity is. She's known around school as the 'girl who's way too preppy,' but she doesn't mind. However, when Jason Blossom's death becomes the talk of the town, people are relying on Cassie to bring their spirits back up.

She has to try and make the new girl, Veronica Lodge, feel as welcome as she can. She has to help her friends, Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews, as they struggle in accepting one another. She has to help her cheer captain, Cheryl Blossom, who is crumbling down after her brother's death.

None of them know how much Jason really meant to Cassie, and for the first time in her life, she doesn't feel like being the happy preppy girl everyone needs her to be.

SUMMARY: Cassie Jones is the definition of school spirit. She's a cheerleader, the head of the welcoming committee, and a member of various clubs around the school. People lean on Cassie when they need a good spirit or advice that's not conflicted with jealousy or negativity.
