after winning the battle they go to canada, find Kayla Knowle, destroy a poison-covered spear that Kronos' army stole and beckendorf makes a crappy replica that actually has hea;ing powers#rs, it gets set on fire with Lucia holding it, Connor realises he is in love with her after the pain he felt for her causes of the suffering, beckendorf gets captured while connor is helping her burn, Kayla shoots a Laistrygonian Giant that was holding him with an arrow causing him to be dropped, the giant chases her and she find safety in canada before returning to camp

aphrodite curses them to feel eachothers pain since they were tsking too long to get together

she shows up at the end of the quest and wa s like "you did it, yay! Kayla is safe, Charles you are a good guy for my daughter, oh and connor you need to talk to me in private."
"ok?"
"so i cursed you a wee bit, but its okay cause you are soulmate so go make a move!"
he does not make a move until a month before the battle of manhatten and then he explains the whole curse thing

hwer fear of fire is a huge part of the story post quest
