After the scandal with Gellert Grindelwald in the early twentieth century, MACUSA President Seraphina Picquery was forced to step down, amidst questions as to where her loyalties truly lay. After relocating to the United Kingdom to settle down and start her family, the Picquerys lived a quiet existence out of the spotlight, until the day Maris Picquery was sorted into Slytherin house, causing the wizarding world to question the morals the family held most dear. Now the young eleven-year-old is faced with the decision to submit to the standards held over her by the rest of the wizarding world, or prove that she's no ordinary Slytherin.
