Taking one step at a time,

trying to finish it by nine.

You need to hurry, they say

you are too slow today.

I listen to them, a huge mistake,

thinking they are right I take no break.

I'm halfway done and it's already six

And so I start trying my best tricks.

The clock is ticking loudly in the hall

I'm doing my work and I get a call

Are you done already it's getting late

You need to take the piece to her gate.

It's finally nine and i finish the masterpiece

I admire it and I sit back in peace.

It then struck me, I was fooled

They got me to hurry, they never would.

They made me hurry, it's all getting blurry

I heard the door break it strikes me

It was all fake they are not who they say

Before I could do anything I felt a sharp ache.
