FREDDY'S POV

Ok. I got this.

I inhaled and exhaled at a steady pace. I fixed my collar one last time, looked in the mirror, and fixed my hair.

It's finally time for the dance.

I'm wearing a black tux and tie with a white shirt. (Pic above).

We are all meeting at Tomika's house, her mom offered to take us all. We all refused since school was only about five to ten minutes away by walking, but she told us we had no choice.

I hear the doorbell ring, it must be Zack.

"Mom! Zack's here, I'm leaving!" I yell coming down the stairs.

"Ok! Wait come here." She said making me stop and turn around.

She fixed my collar one last time and kissed the top of my head.

"Have fun sweetheart." She said.

"Thanks Mom, bye."

"Bye."

I walked out if the door and got greeted by Zack.

He was wearing a dark blue tux with a black bowtie and a white shirt. (Pic above).

"Hey man, you look great!" I said.

"So do you my boy!" He said and we did our secret handshake.

"Are you anxious to see what your girl looks like?" I asked as we started walking.

"No, she'll look like she always does, hot. How about you?" He asked.

"Summer looks great in anything, I'm just excited to see what she chose." I answered.

"Well what ever you do Freddy, don't get a boner." Zack said.

I smacked him upside the head and laughed.

After a couple minutes, we reached Tomika's house.

Zack knocked on the door and Tomika's mom answered.

"Hello boys, come in." She said stepping to the side.

"Are you guys excited?" She asked us.

"Extremely." I answered.

"And stoked for our performances throughout the dance." Zack added.

"Shut up!" I heard coming from the stairs. Laughter followed.

I saw Tomika first. She had a black dress to her knees with white flowers at the bottom and a white cardigan. Her hair was straight and parted to the side. She looked great. (Pic above).

But what left me speechless was the beauty following behind her.

I saw Summer in a red dress. It was off her shoulders, it reached just above her knees. Her natural waves were curled and her hair was parted to the side. Her beautiful, soft skin was now free of all scars and bruises. (Pic above).

She was flawless.

I didn't notice that Zack had already gone over to Tomika and hugged her.

My turn.

I walked over to Summer who already had a beautiful shade of pink on her cheeks.

I grabbed her surprisingly cool hands in mine.

"You look gorgeous." I whispered in her ear.

"You look handsome." She whispered back while giggling.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She tensed up when my hand landed on her bare shoulder but relaxed after a couple of seconds.

"Alright! All of you, picture." Tomika's mom said.

Summer and I put our arms around each other, next to Summer was Tomika who was next to Zack with their arms around each other as well.

As soon as she takes the picture, we all hopped in the car and made our way to school.

When we got there, there was music, like four tables full of food, cool lights, and many people dancing.

Our first stop was the stage to set up for our first performance. It was kinda hard to get to the stage since there were so many people in the gym. They just opened doors five minutes ago, how is it so crowded?

"Hey Mr. Finn." I said.

"Hey guys. Wow, ladies you look great! Boys, you've looked worse." He said.

"Thanks." Summer and Tomika said it smiling while Zack and I said it more as a question.

"Are we ready for our first song?" Mr. Finn asked.

"Yeah!" We all said.

Before I went to my drums, I pulled Summer to the side of the stage.

"You nervous?" I asked holding her hands.

"A little. I know the lyrics, I'm probably just overthinking it. And I'll Tomika singing with me, so that calms me down a little." She said.

"Don't worry Sum, just have fun." I told her.

"Thanks Freddy " she said.

I quickly pecked her lips and walked over to the drum set.

"What's up everyone?!" Tomika asked into the microphone.

The audience just cheered.

"Alright we are gonna perform our first song for you. Let's get this party started!" Summer said.

The audience started to clap and cheer.

The lights went down and then music started to play.

(Pretend the brunnet is Tomika and the blonde is Summer).

Everyone erupted into screams and applauses.

That was freaking cool!

This was probably the first time I heard Summer sing. She sounded amazing. When she sang with Tomika, they sounded like angels, as if their voices and were meant to sing together.

"Thank you!" Summer said.

"Don't go anywhere cause we'll be here all night!" Tomika added.

We all left our stuff organized on the stage for when we have our next performance.

When we got down from the stage, I hugged and picked up Summer.

"Babe, you sounded amazing." I said.

"Thanks Freddy." She said.

I put her down and Tomika ran up to her to hug her.

"Ah Summer! You were awesome." She said.

"Thanks Tomiks, you were too." Summer said.

"You rocked Sum." Zack said giving her a high five since she was still hugging Tomika.

"Thanks Zack." She replied.

"Come on let's party!" Tomika said.

She grabbed Zack's hand and I grabbed Summer's.

We started to dance just in a small circle. Occasionally, we would dance in partners and switch back and forth.

After about twenty minutes, we made our way back to the stage.

"Alright, whose ready rock!?" Tomika asked.

We all got to our positions. Tomika looked at Summer to know if she was ready, since summer was not only playing the tambourine but also singing back up.

Summer nodded, Tomika gave the signal, and the music started.

(Again, just pretend).

Right after we finished, we all took like a ten second break and began the next song.

After, the crowd died down, we went to go eat.

When we got our food, we found two couches close together, so Summer and I sat at the end of one, and Tomika and Zack sat at the other couch at the end close to us.

"So Zack, how did you say Tomika would look tonight?" I asked him.

Zack chocked on his soda, and started to cough.

I just smirked.

"Huh?" Tomika and Summer asked confused.

"Zack said something about how Tomika would look today at the dance. I believe the word was-"

"Shut up!" Zack cut me off.

At this point I was laughing.

"It's ok Zack. Don't listen to him." Summer said.

"What did you say?" Tomika asked.

"Um..." Zack stuttered.

"Did you think I would look bad?" Tomika asked worriedly.

"No! Of course not! You never do. I said I that," he glared at me before continuing. "I said you would look hot." He said blushing.

"Aw babe. Sorry for doubting you." Tomika said and kissed him.

"You look hot too." She added.

"Thanks Tomiks. How about you Freddy, tell Summer what you texted me this afternoon." Now it was my turn to choke on my soda.

"What?" Tomika and Summer asked.

"What is it with you two talking at the same time?" I asked laughing trying to change the subject.

"Nuh-uh, it's your turn, what did you text Zack?" Tomika asked.

Everyone was looking at me and Summer had curious eyes on her face.

"Uuuuuhhhhh..." I stuttered.

I wasn't gonna say it. I don't want to. I mean, I didn't say anything bad but I'm not sure if Summer is ready for what I told Zack about her.

I was probably deep in thought because I didn't notice Zack, Tomika, and Summer were whispering to each other.

When they saw me staring, they just say still for a few seconds.

They took off running.

I chased after them.

"What are y'all doing?!" I yelled.

Why did the girls have to wear tennis shoes with their dresses? If they wore heels, it would be easier for me to catch at least one of them.

I followed then all the way into the hallway. They turned to the right and went in the janitors closet.

"Guys, seriously?!" I said trying to turn the knob. But I knew it was hopeless when I heard the lock turn.

"Zack! What are you doing?!" I asked knowing he's probably behind this.

"Nothing, you know just... Showing Summer the text messages!" He said.

Fuck!

"No, Zack you better not!" I yelled banging on the door.

"Too late!" Tomika yelled.

"Damn it!" I whispered hitting the door one last time.

Fuck you Zack.

I guess in a way it's my fault, I started it. But seriously, Zack couldn't think of anything else to do to embarrass me in front of Summer?

How is Summer gonna look at me now?

SUMMER'S POV

"I'm serious Zack... I think I love her."

Oh my gosh.

Did Freddy really text Zack that he loves me?

Freddy loves me?

Some one pinch me.

"Wow." Tomika said.

"You alright Summer?" Zack asked.

"Yeah I'm good. I just never thought Freddy might actually feel like that about me." I told them.

"Don't be surprised Summer. We both told you it was a matter of time before he returned your feelings." Zack said.

"Yeah. I mean everyone knows you love Freddy. Right?" Tomika asked.

"Yes, I love Freddy. I always have. It just doesn't feel real to me." I told them.

It's true. I have loved him for so long. But the fact that he actually feels the same way is unreal to me. I still can't believe it, the best guy in the world that I could possibly have said he loves me.

Well he didn't really say it, more like texted it to his best friend. But still.

I smiled to myself.

"Someone's happy." Tomika said hugging me.

"Be quiet!" I said.

"Well at least Freddy won't completely kill me." Zack said hugging me as well.

"Don't worry about it. I'll talk to him." I said.

"Alright Freddy, we're done-" Tomika said while opening the door, but she cut herself off when Freddy wasn't on the other side if the door.

"Where's Freddy? I asked.

"I don't know." Zack answered.

"Come on let's look around." He added.

After walking for a little bit, we saw Freddy sitting on the small steps of the hallway front of us.

"Hello." We all said at the same time.

He turned around.

"Hi," he started "what did you show her?" He asked.

"The whole conversation." Zack said.

"Yep. Pretty much." Tomika and I added.

"Yeah, thought so." He said standing up.

"Can you guys give us some time alone?" I asked Tomika and Zack.

"Sure, we'll be setting up the stage for the next song." Zack said putting his arm around Tomika.

"So don't be late." Tomika added.

"We won't." I said.

Once they left, Freddy spoke.

"Look Summer, I... I know that.. look I really-" I cut him off by kissing him.

Since he was standing on a step that was lower than the one I was on, I was taller than him at the moment.

I put my hands on each side of his face and he put one hand on my waist and the other on my bare shoulder.

This time I didn't tense up, I was comfortable.

We pulled back after what seemed like a full minute.

"Freddy, I love you too, I have for a long time." I said.

"I love you Summer." He said.

I love you Summer.

The sentence became like a mantra for me.

I have been dreaming about this moment​ for so long.

We hugged really tight.

"Come on, we need to get back to the dance. We have a song to perform." I said.

"Yeah let's go." He said.

We held hands all the way to the gym.

Once we got there and made our way to stage, we began the introduction for our next song.

Once again, I'll be doing a duet with Tomika. Singing with my best friend really makes me feel so comfortable on the stage.

"Alright, who's ready for another song?!" Tomika asked.

The crowd once again huddled over the stage.

"Hope you like it." I said.

(Again, pretend).

The crowd started to cheer again.

We decided to dance a little but since our food had digested now.

Tomika and I decide to dance together since they were playing out song, Despacito. (I love this song)!

Out of nowhere, Tomika stood still.

"What's wrong Tomika?" I asked.

"I swear I felt someone grab my butt." She whispered.

"What?!"

"Sssshhhh!" She shushed me.

"What?" I asked.

She dragged me out of the dance floor to where the couches were.

"Summer, you were right next to Zack, you know what would happen if he found out?"

"What?" I asked.

"He turns into Freddy."

"Oooh. Yeah that's bad." I said.

Don't get me wrong, I love Freddy, but seriously he is dangerous to be around if something like this were to happen. And to hear that Zack is the same way, then it's bad.

"What do you want to do then?" I asked Tomika.

"For now, let's return to the dance floor, just watch my back if you see anyone suspicious, and I'll tell you if it happens again." She said.

"Sounds like a plan." I took her hand and we went back to where the guys were.

"Hey where'd you guys go?" Freddy asked.

"Oh, we went to get a quick drink of water." I lied.

"Oh ok." Zack said.

We all started to dance in a small circle and at the small time I watched out for Tomika who was across from me.

I saw this guy with a red hoodie walk behind her, right when he walked past, Tomika stopped dancing.

She looked at me, questioning if I saw anything. I pointed to my dress and to my head and mouthed 'red hoodie'.

She hinted with her head for me to follow her.

"We'll be back Sum and I have to the restroom." She said. I nodded when Freddy looked at me questioning if I had to go.

"Ok, but remember we have to perform in about ten minutes." Zack said looking at his watch.

We nodded and started to look for the guy.

"Do you see him?" Tomika asked me.

"No... Wait, yes! He's by the punch." I said pointing to the table with drinks.

"Ok come on." She said walking over to him.

I have to admit, I'm a little scared as to what Tomika is planning to do.

"Hey!" She said to guy.

"What?" He asked, kinda rudely.

"Did you grab my friends butt, twice?" I asked.

"So what if I did?" He asked.

"You're a pervert buddy, I should knock you dead right​ know!" Tomika yelled.

"Easy." I said putting my hands on her shoulders.

"Who cares? There wasn't much to grab anyways." He said.

Is he freaking serious?

"Excuse you?!" We asked.

But my eyes went open when I realized two other male voices said the same thing.

Crap!

Zack and Freddy.

"What did you grab exactly?" Zack asked getting angry.

I pinched my nose and tried to pull him away.

"Ok seriously Zack you don't wanna know." I whispered to him.

"I grabbed this one's ass." He said pointing at Tomika.

Shit.

"What?!" Zack yelled.

He tried to grab the guy but Freddy held him back.

"Zack calm down! He's not worth it anyways." I said trying to get Zack to relax.

I laughed when I saw my best friend slap the teeth out if him.

"One more time, and I won't hesitate to let my boyfriend kill you." She said.

We walked away and left him shocked.

"How did you guys know we were here?" I asked.

"Isn't it obvious? Tomika's eyebrows went up when she said you guys were going to the bathroom." Zack said.

Nice job Tomika.

"We knew something was up, so we let you both walk to where you were going and once we saw y'all talking with the guy, we came to check it out." Freddy added.

"Oh." Tomika​ and I said.

"Oh shit! Come on, we need to perform the next song." Tomika said.

"Yeah, you and Zack need to get ready to sing!" I pointed out.

Zack and Tomika are performing a duet.

We all raced to the stage, got our instruments, and Tomika announced the next song.

"Alright guys, we are gonna perform another duo!" Tomika said.

"Enjoy the show." Zack said.

(Pretend Maddie is Tomika and Sam is Zack).

I just love them together!

I set my tambourine down and walked to the microphone for my solo.

Here we go.

I did it.

I actually did it!

The crowd was screaming and applauding.

I feel my checks and see that I'm crying, they are definitely tears of joy.

I have never performed a solo, ever.

When we got off the stage, I was immediately hugged by Freddy.

"You were fantastic." He whispered.

"Thanks." I said hugging him back very tightly.

Zack was the next person to hug me.

"You killed it Summer." He said.

"Thanks Zack." I said.

"Come to momma." Tomika said.

I laughed and hugged her so tightly.

We checked the time and saw that we had about twenty minutes until the end of the dance and our final performance.

We mostly just sat down and talked. When it was time to go to the stage, we gathered up the crowd one last time.

"Alright people let's end the night with one last song!" Tomika said into the microphone.

(Pretend all band members sang this).

Yeah!

We walked back to Tomika's house.

"I'll see you later babe." Freddy said.

"Bye." I said and pecked him on the lips.

I turned around and saw Tomika and Zack making out.

"Come on Tomika, we gotta go inside." I said smiling.

"Summer no one interrupts you and Freddy when you kiss." She said breaking her kiss with Zack.

I laughed softly.

"But I guess your right." She said.

She pecked Zack one last time and we both got to the door.

"Bye." We said to the boys one last time.

They waved and we closed the door.

"What a night." Tomika said.

"You're telling me."

I'm finally done!

Phew! There's a lot of music in this chapter.

I really love this one, it's probably my favorite.

The next chapter won't be as long and it'll have some Tomika and Zack action for all Zomika shippers.
