FREDDY'S POV

I can't believe I'm gonna do it today. I always told myself this will never happen, but I ate my words.

I'm going to ask Summer out on a date.

Today is Sunday and I texted Tomika, she and Summer have nothing to do since she is going out with Zack. So I thought Summer and I could hang.

Why am I so nervous?

As I walk to Tomika's house, my hands are sweaty, I'm breathing fast, and my heart is beating a mile a minute.

After about 5 minutes of walking, I finally reach the house.

I walk to the porch and take a deep breath. Just be calm, be cool. Don't stutter, just say it.

I press the doorbell and even more nerves hit me. Should I do this? I'm actually worried. I start pacing back and forth.

What if she says no? Maybe she doesn't like me. But she said she likes me yesterday, we have almost kissed like three times. Then again, I leaned all the times. She did too. So she'll probably say yes? But-

My thoughts were interrupted when Tomika's mom answered the door.

"Hey Freddy, do you need something?" She asked.

"Hi Mrs. Stone, is Summer here? I wanna talk to her." I said.

"Sure, come in." She said stepping aside so I could come into the house. Once I was inside, I sat on a nearby couch.

"Summer, a friend is here to see you!" Mrs. Stone yelled facing the stairs.

"Coming!" I heard Summer's sweet and beautiful voice answer.

My heart kept racing as I heard the steps from the stairs grow louder and louder.

I finally saw the blonde curls, when she turned around I saw her beautiful blue eyes. She was wearing a black shirt, longsleeve, with gray sweatpants, and she still looked amazing.

She looked surprised at first, but then she smiled at me and I returned it.

"Her Freddy, what's up?" She asked sitting down next to me on the couch.

"Hey Sum, I uh..." no stuttering. Come on Freddy.

"I wanted to ask you something." I told her.

"Sure, go ahead." She encouraged.

"Will... Will you go out with me? Today?" I said feeling a huge weight of my shoulders. But I kept breathing heavily.

She looked at me with confused yet surprised eyes.

"Are you serious?" She asked me.

"Yes of course." I said. Why would she think I don't mean- wait. Ok.

"Look Summer, I know that I probably haven't gained your full trust just yet, I know that you probably think I have never really returned your feelings. But I have, for a really​ long time. Like I said, I just didn't want to accept it. And that was a mistake. I want to try, even though we've known each other for a long time, I wanna get closer to you. I really do like you, will you give me a chance?" I asked holding her soft hands in mine.

I'm not sure what to expect.

After a few seconds she smiled.

"Yes Freddy, I'll go out with you." She said.

"You will?" I asked feeling like my heart was gonna explode.

She nodded.

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

This is another one of the reasons I like her. She has a kind heart and personality. She is always nice to others and is sensitive, which naturally attracts people to her.

We both stood up and I hugged her so tightly, I didn't want to let go, I was comfortable.

But after a while, we had to pull away.

"So I'll pick you up at seven?" I said.

"Yeah, that works" Summer said.

"I swear to you Summer you won't regret it. I'll you then, bye." I said heading towards the door.

"Bye." Summer said waving at me.

I waved back and walked out the door.

Yes! She said yes!

I have a date with Summer Hathaway!

~Time Skip To 7pm~

I walk over to Tomika's house again, this time, even more anxious than earlier.

I'm wearing and blue t-shirt, with a black leather jacket, matching black pants and white tennis shoes. (Pic above).

I reach the house and ring the doorbell.

I can't believe I'm taking Summer out on a date. And I can't believe she said yes!

Mrs. Stone answers the door and smiles at me.

"Hey Freddy, I assume you're here for Summer?" She asked.

"Correct" I said, smiling a an idiot. A damn happy one.

She allowed me to step inside.

"Summer is almost ready, do you want anything to drink?" Mrs. Stone asked me.

"I'm ok ma'am, thank you." I said standing near the table.

After about two minutes, I heard light clicking coming from the stairs.

I started to take deep breaths and and held on to the table scared I might not be able to stand when I see Summer.

Thank goodness I held on to the table.

Summer was wearing a maroon dress that complimented the color of her delicate, soft looking skin. It reached her mid thigh, was spaghetti-strapped, and hugged her body, letting me see her beautiful curves. She had skin colored heals on, her hair was down falling below her shoulders and parted to the side. (Pic above).

When she reached the bottom of the steps, Mrs. Stone came and hugged her.

"You look amazing sweetheart. Let me get a picture." She said walking upstairs.

"You look..." I started but couldn't finish. I was eyeing her up and down.

"You look stunning. You look gorgeous." I said stepping towards her.

She looked down and smiled.

"Thanks. You look handsome." She said looking at me.

I took her hands and noticed her light scars making me frown a little.

It makes me angry that she was suffering, and to think I probably caused some off those makes me wanna punch myself. But the fact that she was comfortable enough to have her arms exposed around me, made me feel happy.

"Alright you two, smile." Mrs. Stone said coming back down with a camera.

I put my arm and her petite waist and she put her arm around my shoulders. (Pic above).

Once the camera clicked, we made our way towards the door.

"Have fun!" Mrs. Stone called out.

"Thanks!" We both said.

As soon as we were out of the house, I hugged Summer really tight.

"I really hope you fun." I said pulling away with my hands resting on her waist.

"If I'm with you, I know I will." She said with her hands on my shoulders.

God fucking damn it, this girl is gonna be the death of me.

SUMMER'S POV

Freddy and I made our way to a Starbucks nearby, it's my favorite place.

The whole time, I felt each of his fingers and the warm palm of his hand on my waist. He pulled me close to his body, my shoulder beside his and I had my arm around his waist as well.

We walked in silence, but it was comfortable. As if we were in our own world.

Occasionally I would lean my head into his shoulder and he would lean his head on my head.

When we finally got to Starbucks, we ordered what we wanted. Freddy got a Caramel Macchiato and I got a Cafe Mocha.

We went to a table near the window and sat down across from each other.

"Summer, you know what we should do?" Asked Freddy.

"What?" I asked taking a drink from my mocha.

"21 questions, you know to have a conversation starter." He said.

Good idea.

I nodded.

"Me first, why do you like being in the band?" He asked me.

"Good question, I honestly love hanging out with my friends and music​ was a big part of my life growing up. And being in the band also let's me express myself." I told him.

He smiled. And I returned it.

"You?" I asked taking a drink.

He took a drink as well before answering.

"Well I have played the drums since I was little. It was always a way for me to relieve any stress or anger I was feeling. Eventually, I fell in love with it and began to take it seriously." He answered.

Wow, I didn't know that.

"Ok what was your first rollercoaster?" I asked. Completely random.

"It was called The Farenheit." He said.

"The Farenheit?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"That was my first rollercoaster too." I said.

"Are you serious?" He asked with a wide smile.

I nodded smiling like an idiot.

"We're you scared on the part where it goes straight up?" He asked me.

"A little because it goes so slow." I told him.

"I know right? And it keeps going slow at the very top-"

"Then speeds up like hell going down!" I finished for him.

We laughed.

For about an hour we talked, laughed, and really got to know each other better.

I didn't know he liked horror movies or that his most embarrassing moment was that his swimsuit shirts came off at a pool party. I admit it made me blush, don't judge me.

After Starbucks, we went for a walk on the park beside the river.

We kept doing 21 questions because it really gave us topics for conversations.

In the middle of a question, I stopped and took my heels off.

"Summer you ok?" Freddy asked.

"Yeah, my feet are just killing me." I told him.

"Here let me help." He said.

Help?

Before I knew it, one of his arms was around my shoulders and another under my legs, behind my knees.

He scooped me up like I weighted nothing and carried me bridal style. I put my arms around his neck. His warm hands on my bare skin made me shiver with nerves.

He was looking straight ahead and I looked at his eyes, they seemed full of happiness and light.

Did I cause that?

My heart started beating fast at the though.

Freddy suddenly stopped and turned to face me.

I started to look at his lips, slightly parted, then back to his eyes.

He sat me down on the bench, then sat down beside me.

"Summer?" He asked.

His face was so close to mine I could feel his warm breath on me. I giggled when I realized his breath smelled like his macchiato.

"What?" He asked smiling.

"Nothing." I whispered, smiling as well.

He put his hand on my cheek. It was warm and soft, so comfortable. His thumb started to move up and down, stroking my cheek and making me catch my breath.

I put my hands on his shoulders and he put his other hand on my waist.

He started to lean in.

I closed my eyes and leaned in as well.

I felt a pair of soft lips over mine. They were smooth, it felt good. Our lips started to move in sync and I got chills for the thousandth time that night when I felt the hand move from my cheek to my arm and he caressed it up and down.

We pulled apart after what seemed like ten seconds. His lips felt nice against mine.

He rested his forehead on mine. I was breathing heavier than he was, probably because this was my first kiss.

I had my first kiss with Freddy Huerta.

"I really like you Sum." He said making me blush.

"I like you too." I said.

I put my heels back on and we kept walking for a little bit.

After a while, it was about ten o'clock we made our way back to Tomika's house.

Once again, we played 21 questions to have a conversation starter. When we reached the house, we stood in front of the door and Freddy held my hand.

"So have you ever kissed any other guy?" He asked.

I looked down laughing.

"No, you were my first."

"Good, I liked it. I was thinking 'where the hell did she get practice?' and I was getting jealous." He said.

"Don't be." I said.

"I'll try." He said.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow at school." I said.

"Totally, bye." He said, then pecked my lips one more time.

I opened the door, stepped in, closed it, leaned on it, then started to smile like an idiot.

"AAAAHHH!" I heard snapping me out of my daze.

Suddenly, I see Tomika coming towards me. She throws her arms around my waist and I put my arms around her shoulders.

"You and Freddy kissed!" She exclaimed.

"How do you know?" I asked surprised.

"I may or may not have watched the whole thing." She said smiling so wide.

"Come on!" She said dragging me to our room. She closed the door and we both sat on the bed.

"Tell me the deets." She said smiling.

I told her every detail I remembered, then she told me about her date with Zack.

It was a wonderful night for the both of us.

And once again, I am so happy.

Another chapter done! I was gonna post it tomorrow but I loved it so much, I couldn't wait!
