SUMMER'S POV

"I hope you don't regret this." Freddy told me making my head snap in his direction.

We were under the bed sheets, already dressed in pajamas. Well I'm dressed, I have loose shirt and spandex shorts, he just put on boxers.

It's morning and his parents are home, but we got dressed before they got home early in the morning.

Freddy had his hand on my waist and his sudden comment surprised me.

"Why would I?" I asked, really confused.

"You know, I don't wanna hurt you anymore. And if I do, for whatever reason, I don't want you to regret last night." He said moving his hand up and down my waist.

"Well I'm not." I said pulling him in for a kiss.

We kissed for about a minute before pulling away.

"I love you Summer." He said.

"I love you too Freddy."

"It's about 9:00 am, do you wanna get breakfast?" He asked me.

"I guess." I said.

He got off the bed then pulled me up with him.

We went downstairs and his parents were already there making eggs and bacon.

"Hello guys, how did you sleep?" His mom asked.

"Pretty good." Freddy said putting his arm around my shoulder.

I gave him a 'watch out' look. Seriously Freddy?

"Summer?" I heard his mom ask.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah I slept great." I said taking a seat at the table, Freddy sat next to me.

"That's awesome. Hope you had a great day yesterday." Freddy's dad said.

Freddy leaned over to me and whispered in my ear.

"We had a great night too."

I slapped him on his arm and blushed. Why does he like to make me blush? I swear this boy.

"One more and I won't kiss you for a week!" I whispered to him.

He put his hands up in defeat. At least that's over.

After we ate breakfast, they drove me back to Tomika's house, where I was greeted by a squealing best friend.

"Tell me everything!" She said pulling me up to our room and locked the door.

"Spill!" She said once we sat down on the bed.

"Well, we went to his house, made out, talked, laughed, and that's pretty much it." I told her.

What? I'm not gonna tell her that. But then again, knowing that she knows me more than anyone else, she probably already knows.

"U-huh, is that all you did?" She asked with a smirk on her face.

"Look, I don't get into what you and Zack do, so I'm not telling g you anything." I said smiling like an idiot.

"Ok, if I tell you something, then will you tell me something?" She asked.

I'm scared now, should I say yes? Oh what the hell?

"Sure." I said.

"When you and Freddy went on your date, Zack and I finished our date early, so we came back, mom wasn't home yet and..."

"No!" I exclaimed with my mouth wide open in shock.

"Yes." Tomika said smiling.

"You bad girl you! Why didn't you tell me before?" I asked.

"You really think I was gonna risk judgement?"

Fair enough.

"Still, no matter what it is, you can tell me, and I'll never judge you." I said hugging her.

"Thanks Summer. Now you!" She said grabbing my hands.

"Well we got back to his house, his parents had gone out for the night and... Let's just say we had an EXTREME make out session." I said.

"OMG!" She exclaimed hugging me.

For many hours, we talked, played, watched movies, and sang.

I love my best friend!

FREDDY'S POV

*The Next Day*

I'm walking over to Tomika's house because I wanna give something to Summer.

It's nothing big but, it means a lot to me, and hopefully to her too.

I knock on the door and Tomika answers.

"Hey Freddy!" She greets me.

"Hey Tomika! Where's your mom?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Groceries. I assume you wanna see Summer?" She asked.

"Yeah. Can we have ten-fifteen minutes?" I asked.

"No problem." She said stepping aside for me to come in.

"Thanks." I said sitting down on the sofa.

"Summer! Come down here!" Tomika yelled.

Why can't she just go upstairs and tell her? I don't know.

"What?!" I heard Summer's voice from upstairs.

"Freddy's here!" Tomika yelled.

"Coming!" Summer yelled and I heard her quick footsteps coming down the stairs.

I smiled, she likes to see me.

"Hey." She said walking towards me.

"Hi." I said pecking her lips.

"I'll leave you guys alone for a moment." Tomika said running up the stairs.

"Is there something wrong?" Summer's asked.

"No. Nothing's wrong I just wanted to give you something." I said.

"What is it?" Summer asked curiously.

I pulled a small box out of my pocket and opened it.

"It's a promise ring." I said. (Pic above).

She smiled.

"Summer, I promise that I'll take care of you, I won't let you get hurt and I'll make sure you don't regret anything with me." I said, meaning every word.

"And I promise you that no matter who comes into my life, your gonna be the person I love the most. I'm gonna be the best girlfriend I can be." She said.

I slid the ring on her.

"You already are" I said and kissed her.

After about ten seconds, she broke the kiss.

"Ok Tomika you can fan girl now." She said.

What?

"Aah!! I'm so happy for y'all!" She said hugging Summer.

Wait what?

"You were eavesdropping?" I asked.

"Well duh! You really think I would miss out on this? Plus I had to make sure I could slap you in case you came here to break up with her." She said.

"No. I would never break up with Summer." I said with a strong, affirmative voice.

"Good." She said, still hugging Summer.

"Hey guys." A voice came from the door.

Zack.

"Don't you knock?" Summer asked sarcastically.

"Sometimes. What did I miss?" He asked.

"I gave Summer a promise ring and Tomika is all excited." I summed up.

"Awesome bro!" He said giving me a hug.

"Ok now I want all of us to make a promise." Tomika said.

"What?" I asked.

"Promise me, all of us, that no matter where we go, we are always gonna be here for each other." She said.

"I do." Zack said.

"Same here." Summer said.

"Count on me." I said.

"And I'm in." Tomika said.

We all did a big group hug.

This is what I want, to always have my best friends and my girlfriend by my side.
