I found myself in a place,

With other animals like me.

I thought you would come for me

I thought that was the case.

Days and nights passed,

I didn't know they wouldn't last.

Someone came up to my cage,

I knew it was my time at last.

He brought me into a dark room,

This is all that's left.

It smelled like death, 

And darkness covered my eyes
