MANDIE was startled when she was close to the gate of her house and noticed that there was chaos going on. Or it would be more accurate to say that all her belongings were scattered outside the house.

She immediately went inside and approached the people who were moving her things around. "What are you doing in my house?" she asked them with a frown.

One of the men turned and looked at her. "We were just ordered to do this, ma'am," he said without saying anything else and went inside.

She was confused! She couldn't allow them to mess up her house. She observed some of her personal items outside.

"Wait a minute," she restrained herself. They turned to look at her. "Who told you to mess up the order in my house?"

"It was me!"

She turned her head at the voice. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the Korean man who had ruined her life. What right did he have to do this to her home?

"What did you do to my house?" she shouted angrily.

He smirked. 'His face was really begging to be slapped!'

"Well, I just took out all your ugly stuff. You can leave my house now!" he said arrogantly.

"Hey, you Korean shrimp model!" she snapped. "Don't try to deceive me! Leave now, or I'll have you arrested by the police."

"Huh! If I were the one to call the police after all you've done to me!" he shouted back, not backing down.

"Why are you bothering me? Why are you claiming my house?"

"Your house?" he sarcastically laughed. "This is not your house anymore, woman! This is now my house."

She was furious. She wouldn't let this happen. He had no right to claim what was hers.

"Get out of here!" she yelled.

"You should be the one to leave! I didn't want to do this, but since you're forcing me, I will!" he snapped his fingers. "Attorney!" he called out loudly.

Suddenly, a plump, formally dressed man appeared before them.

"Are you Mandie Lee?" the attorney asked her.

"Yes, I am," she replied, feeling confused.

"Are you the only daughter of Rowena and Marcus Lee?" the attorney continued.

"Yes," she answered politely.

The attorney opened a document in his attaché case. "Then you have to evacuate this house soon because this property has been sold to the Chois for quite some time now."

"What are you talking about?" she raised her voice. Her parents have been gone for a while, and how could they sell their house?

"I know you are in shock right now, Miss Lee, but to clarify things, your parents sold this house to the Choi family. Perhaps you were not aware of it because they didn't tell you before they disappeared. The Chois didn't need the house back then, so they allowed you to live here for a while. But now it's about time for you to leave because the new owners are claiming this house," he explained at length.

Mandie couldn't comprehend anything except that her parents apparently sold the house without her knowledge. Where would she go now? This house was essential to her life, but it would now be taken away from her and fall into the hands of this rude Korean. No! They were lying, deceiving her!

She shook her head and said firmly, "You're lying! You're mistaken if you think my parents sold this house. We love this house so much that my parents could never sell it."

"Miss Lee, the Choi family bought the house legally and have all the documents to prove their ownership. The best thing you can do now is to leave this house," the lawyer explained politely.

She felt like she was hit by rocks. Why were these things happening to her? She loved this house so much. She couldn't leave it. And most importantly, she would never allow this man to live in their house. With that thought, she looked at him. He was smirking as if he had won.

"What are you waiting for? The end of the world? Get out of my house! Your things are already outside. So, you can leave now," he dismissed her and gestured towards the door, asking her to leave.

"You're a plague in my life, you Korean with an ugly body!" she shouted.

He laughed and glanced at his lawyer. "Attorney, you can leave now, and I'll take care of this woman," he turned back to her, grinning.

The lawyer nodded and left. Even the people who were moving her belongings stopped their work. Only the two of them remained in the house.

They stared at each other.

"Perhaps you want me to escort you outside?" he said sarcastically.

"I don't have time for people like you. You should leave my house. Do you think you can fool me? I don't believe what your lawyer said."

"You really are stubborn with your reasoning as a woman, huh!" he said irritably.

She just sighed and walked towards her room.

"Hey! Where are you going?" she heard him shout.

"None of your business!" she shouted back.

Before she could step on the stairs, she was surprised when he picked her up as if she were a sack of rice. She struggled, "Let me go, ugly Korean!" she screamed and kicked her feet. "What are you doing? Let go of me!" she yelled, tugging at his hair.

"Don't be so restless, or I'll drop you," he shouted back.

"Ahhhh!" she continued screaming.

He stopped as he brought her outside the door.

She glared at him fiercely.

"I don't want to see your face in my house anymore! Do you understand, you heavy-truck woman!" he exaggeratedly said, patting his shoulders. "My shoulders might be dislocated because of your weight," he complained.

Her eyes sparkled with rage. How dare he insult her weight like that?

He waved his hand dismissively. "Just go ahead and call the police if you want," she heard him say from inside.

"Huh!" she frustratedly shouted. She kicked the door repeatedly. Her efforts were futile as he wouldn't open the door for her. Angrily, she sat down. Ever since she saw that Korean man, her life had been cursed.

She was still confused about what the lawyer said earlier. The lawyer didn't seem like a liar, but why didn't she know anything about all this?

Did her parents really sell their house while they were still alive? She had no idea. The lawyer's words were clear, but she still refused to leave her home. She loved their house so much, and nobody could take that away from her.

Huh! What did that man think? Could he fool her? He was mistaken! She wouldn't leave her house even if she had to shed blood!

SEUNGCHEOL'S eyes snapped open when he heard a rustling sound. He quickly got up from where he was lying and went out of the room.

Earlier, he felt relieved when he no longer heard Mandie's screams. He was running out of patience with that woman. She was so stubborn and refused to believe the attorney's words. He shouldn't have brought his father's lawyer with him. He had planned to talk to Mandie calmly, but he suspected she would still insist on being the owner of the house. Thankfully, he brought the attorney; otherwise, his ears would be bleeding from her screams.

It's good that she left. He didn't care where she went anymore. The important thing was for her to leave his house and never show up again. He loved that house so much. He fell in love with it at first sight, which might be the reason why Mandie didn't want to leave either. But he was not to blame if her parents sold the beautiful house to his family. Perhaps they were in dire need of money, which led them to do it. But he totally doesn't care anymore. What matters to him now is that the girl leaves, and he has a new place to live.

As he descended the stairs, darkness greeted him. He went to the side, felt for the light switch, and pressed it.

Along with the illumination, Seungcheol's eyes also widened. However, that only lasted for a moment and was replaced by irritation.

"What are you doing here?" he asked irritably, thinking that the girl had already left his house.

She stood up straight, meeting his gaze. "I'm going to sleep in my room, why?"

"You're really stubborn, aren't you? Isn't it clear to you that you're no longer the owner of this house?"

She just blinked. "I don't have time to listen to what you're saying. I'm sleepy, so I'm going to my room," she said snappishly and went upstairs.

"Hey, wait!" he protested. "Where are you going?"

She faced him again, "To my room, duh! Oh, right, I forgot. I'll let you sleep in my house tonight, but tomorrow, I don't want to see your face," Mandie said with attitude.

This Mandie really ruins his life. She's even more stubborn than him. His handsome looks were being destroyed by her.

Before he could speak, she had already gone upstairs. He quickly moved and went up as well. He needed to stop her.

She was surprised when he blocked her path to the room.

"You can't have this. This room is mine," he said firmly. She only gave him a cold look. "How about this," he crossed his arms over his chest. "I'll agree to let you sleep here tonight, but," he pointed his finger, "you're going to sleep in the living room."

She just pushed him aside and entered the room, facing him. "Would you suggest that to yourself too? Ugh! Shoo! I'm going to sleep," she shooed him away.

He pretended to lie down on the bed while his lungs seethed in annoyance. This girl was something else. He wouldn't be defeated by her. He would use his tactic, the one that mesmerized women. He grinned at the thought.

He approached the bed and laid down without any hesitation, beside her. He could see her eyes. He secretly smiled.

"W-What are you doing?" she asked, stuttering.

He made sure he would succeed. He turned on his side, facing her. He moved his face closer to hers. He could feel her nervousness and the hesitation in her gaze. Let's see if she would leave his room.

He even put his leg on top of her, and he could feel her stiffen.

'Go Seungcheol! Almost there!'

He stared into her eyes. He saw something he couldn't read in her eyes. But slowly, her gaze intensified. In response, he also put his leg on hers. He did it again and again. What happened next was that she used her hands to push him away. He didn't back down and held onto her shoulders, trying to push back. It was useless because he didn't anticipate her counterattack. She kicked him in the face, causing him to fall onto the bed.

"Ahhh!" he screamed in pain, feeling a loud thud as he fell.

"Ouch!" he groaned. "I think my hip is dislocated," he weakly said. The impact of his fall was strong.

He saw her peek at the side of the bed. "That's what perverts like you get. Do you really think you can seduce me with your looks?" her eyes sparkled. "I'd love to kick those narrow eyes of yours!" she said angrily. "I'm not like your other girls, whom you can easily charm with just one look. That won't work on me!"

He cursed under his breath. What kind of hands did she have? Her hands were heavy. It seemed like all the bones in his body were dislocated.

Struggling to get up from the fall, he looked at her fiercely. "I'll let go of what you did to me tonight, but be prepared to see me tomorrow," he threatened.

"Fine! Do whatever makes you happy," she retorted sarcastically.

He glared at her threateningly once again. She only gave him a defiant look. She just rolled her eyes at him.

Holding his injured hip, he left the room. He closed the door behind him with a thud.

Outside, he scratched his head in annoyance. This girl was so frustrating! He hadn't even had a chance to get back at Mandie, and she had already scored a point against him. He couldn't count how many offenses she had committed against him.

He thought he could succeed in seducing her earlier, but he was disappointed when she just kicked him in the face. Many women were charmed by just one glance from him, but it had no effect on Maddie. It seemed she wasn't human. But when he looked into her eyes earlier, something hit him. He couldn't describe it.

He rubbed his head; he might lose his mind. He needed to come up with a new plan to finally kick her out of his house for good.
