7 | VALKYRIE

That same night, Loki, the grandmaster and Asa went to go watch the contest of champions. Typically, Asa never watched such events but because it was Thor— she wanted to watch. Within minutes, Thor was released out into the arena. But this time, he had short hair. "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Lord of Thunder!" Grandmaster announced, then everybody in the arena booed Thor.

Suddenly, the other contender was announced to be released in the arena. "I give you, your Incredible Hulk!" Grandmaster then announced, and the green giant was released in the arena.

Suddenly, Thor began shouting "yes!" Everyone in the arena went silent.

"I have to get off this planet." Loki nervously told Asa as he began to run off. She assumed both Thor and Loki knew Hulk from before, so she didn't think much of it. But, before he could go anywhere, the grandmaster stopped him and made him take a seat and watch.

"We know each other! He's a friend from work!" Thor shouted from the bottom of the arena. Loki coughed anxiously.

All Asa could see was Thor conversing with Hulk. Then, Hulk went after Thor. The two began brawling but Thor mostly tried to not hurt Hulk. Loki watched the fight with worried eyes.

Thor got a few swings in but Hulk mostly dominated until the end when Thor kept getting hits on Hulk and finally finished him off with some sort of lightening strike he conjured with his powers.

Within hours, Loki was called by the grandmaster to find Thor and Hulk whom seem to have gone missing. The scrapper that retrieved Thor also was placed on duty for the manhunt. Asa waited outside of their little conference for the two of them to exit. Just as the scrapper and Loki exited the room, Loki began speaking to the scrapper. "What have you done?"

"I don't answer to you, Lackey." The scrapper sniffed.

"It's Loki." He grabbed her arm to stop her from walking.

"And you will answer to the grandmaster." Loki finished.

The woman then released her hand and punched him in the face. She huffed in satisfaction. Loki then pulled out a dagger from his suit. "Why would you help my brother escape with that green fool?" Loki asked her.

Asa only watched the interaction. The scrapper then pulled out her own dagger. "I don't help anyone." She told.

"Aren't you that one scrapper that's from Asgard? Your name is— Val.. Valkyrie!" Asa butted in, trying to put a name to her face.

"You're a Valkyrie?" Loki's eyes lit up.

Valkyrie then charged at Loki with his dagger. The two maneuvered around, blocking each other's arms from getting a chance to use their daggers. Asa stepped away and kept her distance from the fight. Loki looked at Valkyrie's arm and saw the stamp that assured she was a Valkyrie. She managed to kick Loki away from her and unarm him. "I thought the Valkyrie had all died gruesome deaths." Loki mentioned. She pinned Loki up against the wall and pointed her dagger at his throat.

"Choose your next words wisely." She growled.

"I'm terribly sorry. Must be a very painful memory." Loki then reached up and grabbed her head, using his magic to pick at her brain.

She fell backwards as she seemed to recall that horrible memory. Even Loki had to catch his breath after looking into her memories. Valkyrie got pissed and turned right around and knocked him out with a quick punch. She turned to Asa with angry eyes. Asa raised her arms up in surrender. "I'll go where you want me to go, no need to knock me out." She spoke. Valkyrie nodded curtly then grabbed Loki's legs to drag him off and she led Asa away.

A little bit later, Asa and Loki were chained to chairs in place. When Loki woke up, the two were alone in some green room. He looked over at Asa and groaned. "You didn't even try to escape." He grunted.

"Of course not. I'm not a fighter. And if my face gets messed up..." Asa shivered at the thought of losing her looks.

Loki rolled his eyes. Then, the two waited. As if on cue, Valkyrie, Thor and some new guy walked into the room where Loki and Asa were chained up in. "Surprise." Loki greeted the three sarcastically.

Thor then grabbed something and threw it at Loki, making sure it bounced off of him and it wasn't some illusion of him. "Ow." Loki muttered.

"Just had to be sure." Thor huffed.

The unknown man nervously walked into the room. "Hello, Bruce." Loki greeted.

"So, last time I saw you. You were trying to kill everybody. Where are you at these days?" Bruce asked.

Asa shot her head over to Loki. "Kill everybody?!" She exclaimed.

"It varies from moment to moment." Loki growled at Bruce.

"So, Sakaar and Asgard are about as far apart as any two known systems. Our Best bet is a wormhole just outside of the city limits. Refuel on Xandar, and we can be back in Asgard in 18 months." Valkyrie told.

"Nope. We are going through the big one." Thor pointed to the main wormhole in the middle of the city that laid right outside of the window in the room.

"The Devil's Anus?" Valkyrie questioned.

"Anus? Wait, who's anus?" Bruce asked.

"For The record, I didn't know it was called that when I picked it." Thor mentioned.

"No way you're getting in there without getting caught. Plus, Miss Scrapper's ship would tear apart going through that." Asa sneered at them.

Then they all looked at her with a bright smile. "We need a ship." Valkyrie announced smirking down at Asa.

Asa looked around, innocently and unaware that she was their key. "The ships I borrow from grandmaster really are the only good ships on this planet." Asa chuckled, continuing on.

"We'll help you if you grant us safe passage through the anus." Loki spoke up.

Asa shot Loki a dirty look. "No I w—" she began.

"Just play along." He whispered to her.

"You're telling us that you can get us access into the garage without setting off any alarms?" Thor further questioned.

"Yes, I can." Asa played along.

"We would need to draw the guards away from the palace." Valkyrie mentioned.

"Why not set the beast loose?" Loki asked aloud.

"Shut up." Thor hushed Loki. Loki smirked down at his shoes.

"You guys have a beast?" Valkyrie chuckled.

"No. There's no beast. He's just being stupid." Thor told.

"We're going to start a revolution." Thor announced.

"Revolution?"
"I'll explain later."
"Who's this guy again?"
"I'll explain later."
